Position Overview
Come be an integral member of a growing team that is dedicated to building the best online client portal! This web product will be used by our customers to improve their skills, receive support, and purchase additional products and services.
You will work on meaningful, high-priority and business-critical project(s) from end-to-end. Your primary task will be to develop various front-end features, web applications and pages.
You will have the opportunity to make significant technical and intellectual contributions each and every day. You will enjoy working with friendly and like-minded colleagues: we have over 50 web developers building market leading and innovative products! You will have ongoing development opportunities and support, through training courses and mentoring, to help grow your Technical and Professional skills.
You will be part of a small team working on a new product. Entrepreneurial mindset is an asset in this role.
Responsibilities and Deliverables
Alter existing website layouts following established technical and design guidelines
Ongoing support and maintenance of corporate website and client portal
Quickly implement new web projects in order to continuously improve the usability and targeted goals for the corporate website and client portal
Support internal clients with various web-related issues and requests
All other duties as assigned by the Department Manager

Qualifications & Technical Skills
At least internship experience or
A College or University degree in Web Development, Web Design, Computer Science, or related field
Talented in: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX and other front-end technologies
Must have: Web development passion and experience (front-end, back-end or database) combined with a good sense for visual design, style and user interface heuristics; Understanding of Model-View-Controller pattern
Ideally experienced in: .NET (ASP.NET MVC & Web Forms, C#, LINQ), Visual Studio, Cross-browser compatibility
Nice to have: prior e-commerce, social software, community building or CMS experience; experience with SQL, SVN, AWS, HTML5 and Mobile websites
